5. Photos, video & client content

Capturing wedding content is central to what we do. Here's how that content is handled:

• Footage and photos captured on your wedding day are edited and delivered to you as agreed in your booking.

• With your permission, we may use portions of your content (e.g. short clips or images) on our website, Instagram (@altarego.weddings), or in other marketing materials, to showcase our work.

• If you'd prefer your content isn't used publicly, let us know and we'll respect that - this is agreed with each couple individually before the wedding.

• We do not sell, license, or share your wedding content with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Sharing your information

We don't sell your personal data. We may share it with:

• Trusted third-party services that help us run our business (e.g. website hosting, email, cloud storage for footage)

• Professional advisors (e.g. accountant), where necessary

• Authorities, if required by law

Any third parties we work with are required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

7. How long we keep your information

• Enquiry details from couples who don't go on to book are kept for [6 months] before being deleted.

• Booking and client information is kept for as long as necessary to deliver our services and meet legal/accounting obligations (typically up to 6 years for financial records).

• Wedding footage and photos are kept for 6 months after delivery, then archived/deleted unless otherwise agreed.

8. Your rights

• Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal exceptions
